What are winters like?

There is a saying in Norway that “There is no bad weather, but only bad clothing”. Go by this saying and you will enjoy the weather here. Temperature varies a lot and it can fall upto -25 degree C in peak winters during Dec to Feb!!   

However, as long as you dress properly, you should be fine. All the closed interiors, trams, buses, shops, office and homes, etc. are at comfortable + 20-25 degree Celcius and generally, you can roam freely inside, without a sweater :)

Moral: Invest in proper clothing and shoes and you can happily survive in Norwegian winter.
